Information Technology Technician

Reporting to the IT Officer, the incumbent will be accountable for providing and maintaining ICT support services in accordance with the Department’s standards, policies, and operating procedures.

The person shall also provide advice to the Senior staff and Executives about the Department’s standard ICT technologies and services to assist their decisions about effective use of available equipment ensuring the smooth functioning of the systems & applications.

The key roles and responsibilities encompass the following but not limited to:

  • Administration and Maintenance of Systems and Infrastructure;
  • Technical Support;
  • Documentation and Procedures;
  • IT Procurement;
  • Incident Management;
  • Inter-departmental collaboration;
  • Perform any other cognate duties as may be requested by Management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.

Knowledge, Experience & Technical Skill:

At least 2 years of experience as an IT Technician or in a similar role.

  • IT certifications in related fields would be an advantage.
  • Proven experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365 and networking technologies.
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices and relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, Data Protection)
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

Admin Officer

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer and/or Finance Manager, the Admin Officer will manage and direct all admin tasks for IFCM. The Admin Officer will be accountable for the smooth running of the organisation, handling a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, supporting managers/employees, organizing events, and assisting in daily office needs.

The key roles and responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

  • Office Management;
  • Liaison with suppliers and stakeholders of IFCM;
  • Inventory Management;
  • Inter-departmental collaboration;
  • Facilities Management;
  • Events Planning;
  • Travel logistics;
  • Perform any other cognate duties as may be requested by Management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Management or any other qualification acceptable to the Board.

Knowledge, Experience & Technical Skill:

  • At least 2 years of proven experience in administration.
  • An exposure in the Financial Services sector banking and/or non-banking is a must.
  • Solution Provider.
  • Interpersonal Skills.
  • Time Management Skills.

Credit Underwriting Assistant

Reporting to the Credit Underwriting Supervisor, the Credit Underwriter Assistant will be expected to perform an execution role in measuring, monitoring and analysing corporate credit risk with a certain level of authority and limited direct supervision. The Credit Underwriting Assistant will also be engaged in day-to-day smooth functioning of credit underwriting process of the IFCM Ltd by providing support to the delegated Supervisor.

The key roles and responsibilities of the incumbent are but not limited to:

  • Credit Risk Management;
  • Reviewing of applications;
  • Analysis and Interpretation of financial statements and information;
  • Perform any other cognate duties as may be requested by Management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, or any other field acceptable to IFCM.

Knowledge, Experience & Technical Skill:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in similar role;
  • An exposure in a similar environment in commercial bank/financial institution;
  • Analytical Skills;
  • Problem-solving Skills.

Risk Officer

Reporting to the Compliance Officer and MLRO, the Risk Officer must ensure that all risks are properly identified, mitigated and reported. The Risk Officer must also promote a culture of risk awareness and accountability throughout the organisation.

The main roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures;
  • Conducting of regular risk assessments and identification of potential risks;
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with risk management policies;
  • Performing any other cognate duties as may be requested by Management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Management/Risk Management/Finance/Business Management or any other qualification acceptable to IFCM.

Knowledge, Experience & Technical Skill:

  • Professional certification in risk management (e.g., CRM, FRM) is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in risk management or a related field.

Support Officer(s)

IFCM is currently on the look-out to recruit support officers with at least two years of experience in financial sector and/or Banking in the following departments/or in any other departments:

Human Resources

Reporting to the delegated supervisor, the support officer shall be responsible for:

  • Maintenance of database for HR;
  • Training and Development;
  • Induction;
  • Perform any other cognate duties as may be requested by Management.

Recovery Department

Under the guidance of the Recovery Supervisor, the support officer shall be accountable for:

  • Creation and maintenance of claim database;
  • Providing updated, accurate and timely information to relevant stakeholders at any point of time;
  • Ensuring that bad debt provisions are maintained and write offs managed in line with the company’s policies and procedures;
  • Perform any other cognate duties as may be requested by Management.

Corporate

Reporting to the Head of Corporate, the support officer will be expected to provide support for:

  • Client on boarding;
  • Processing of facilities request;
  • Assisting in disbursement and compliance;
  • Perform any other cognate duties as may be requested by Management.

Credit Services

Under the guidance of the Supervisor of the Credit Services department, the job-holder will be expected to:

  • Work proactively with line manager and team member/s to ensure a smooth and efficient department that reduces the number of cases that are overlooked;
  • Ensure proper credit approval is obtained and vet credit approvals for appropriate information for input into credit documentation;
  • Prepare contractual agreements and collateral documents in line with conditions approved at Committee;
  • Perform any other cognate duties as may be requested by Management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Management/Risk Management/Finance/Business Management or any other qualification acceptable to IFCM.

    The program aims to develop and instill skills and aptitude while enhancing the employability of interns. The internship will provide a blend of on-the-job training and coaching to help interns gain experience in the financial services sector, potentially paving the way for a career at IFCM or other financial institutions. Enrollment in the program will be for a period of two years, with renewal possible after the first year upon satisfactory completion.
